Life is not a fairy tale
Nor is it a dream,
Life is what you make of it.
Life cannot be taken lightly
Or too seriously
Live for today, not for tomorrow
If tomorrow never comes
You won't have the chance
To say
I love you, thank you, hello, or goodbye
Life cannot be perfect
Nor will it be fair.
Make the most of what you have,
You cannot have everything you want
So at least
Want everything you have.
Remember the moments
That takes your breath away.
Live for the nights you won't remember
With the friends you'll never forget.
Life is not a fairy tale,
Nor is it a dream
So make the best of it
Have the time of your life.
